Lekeya Hutton studied her Associate's Degree in Nursing at Howard Community College. After successful completion, she was able to obtain employment with Johns Hopkins Hospital where she has worked for over 8 years as a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse. After working for 1 year she decided to further her academic career and obtain both her Bachelor of Science Degree and then shortly afterward her Master of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain College of Nursing. She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has gained employment in Family Medicine and Adult Geriatric Care where she has managed and treated acute and chronic conditions. Her passion and commitment to nursing are what led her to further develop her expertise in substance abuse treatment.
